Time is ticking

Time is ticking
As you said its not running out
We can just hear it clearer
like a metaphor
forcing us not to have fear
it's all the unknown

Closing and opening doors
We will all find lust, love, trust
so go forth and enjoy the doors you open
some will close sooner than others
But they all lead to something

Staying stuck, stubborn and set in you're ways
you'll be grounded and never grow
life's an existentialist ride
One with ups and downs
Greater than any of us shall imagine
I could not fathom
The idea of leaving
Starting fresh

Scary doesn't come close
To justifying
Thought my whole world was dying
Yet it's only one door that I'm closing

Soon on a plane I'll be leaving
Don't wait for me, enjoy life
Time is giving you an opportunity
To go ahead and follow your dreams
so do it

Don't sit and wait or contemplate
You'll always lose with yourself
"what it's", "maybes"
Shakespeare didn't stop to wonder
Where his words would be,
So why do we?

"In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except yourself".
Krishnamurti, Jiddu
